| A: The technology used to create your animation
can vary, depending on its primary use and your
budget. By looking at the projects section of
this site you can see three core types of technology
we employ to create our animation. For the web
we recommend Flash, for tradeshows cinematic 3D
is highly recommended, and if your focus is company-centric,
corporate video is recommended. |
| Q: About how long does it
take to create an animation? |
| A: The time is flexible, but we find a three
month time line is ideal. This allows for the
proper amount of time to come up with the main
concept and work the project through our animation
pipeline, with the most favorable results. Depending
on the complexity of the project this time can
vary, but this is the average. |
| Q: What are the stages in
creating a 3D mechanism of Action animation for
my product? |
A: The production of your animation will
be divided into the three stages listed below.
Concept Creation: Meetings are held to ascertain
your main objectives then an outline is produced
laying out the animation, next detailed storyboards
are created laying out all the action frame
by frame for you to review and approve. Upon
storyboard approval a script is created to accompany
the action.
Animation Creation: We build your animation
based on your input and our medical references,
you will see it take shape via the project review
area and the presentation of rough drafts of
the animation (called motion studies). Once
these are approved we move to the final stage.
The script is recorded and timed with the animation
until they fit together seamlessly
Final Rendering: This is where the real magic
happens. We take the approved motion study and
go to work on it. Adding photorealistic textures
and special effects, we employ all the tools
and techniques usually reserved for feature
films to showcase your product with spectacular
effect. Professional voice talent is brought
into the studio to record the narrative and
music is composed and sound effects are added
by our talented sound engineer. Your movie is
then delivered. |
| Q: What are the choices I
have with regards to movie delivery? |
| A: For the 3D Cinematic animation and Corporate
Video the method of choice is DVD, this will preserve
all of the spectacular detail of your animation
and make for easy display at tradeshows and presentations.
For the Flash animation usually the web is the
delivery method of choice, most likely it will
be placed on your existing website. All animations
can be re purposed for CD-Rom, DVD, and the internet
though. For example we can put a 3D cinematic
animation on the web, or a flash animation on
a DVD, it is all very flexible to maximize the
return on your investment. |
